I saw Ozma before I had ever even heard of them. The show is my favorite to the day. Ozma fans are awesome and I'm glad to be one of them. A lot of songs on "Rock and Roll Part Three" have to do with eachother. Someone said this song had to do with going to war and I totally agree. It's about recollecting memories of the relationship and how his girlfriend still accepts him as he is though he has baggage and scars.
When this song is played live, it's amazing.. really the crowd gets so into it and knows every single word and note. I hope everyone gets a chance to see Ozma sometime. |

Wow, I really like this song a lot. Something to Write Home About is a unique CD and I think I can relate to all of their songs in one way or another. This song could be about a lot of things, and it's hard to sit here.. but what it means to me.. is that it reminds me of my summer. I sit here with a boyfriend who couldn't care less about me, pockets empty. I dunno. I ask advice from my friends about my relationships and they just end up telling me I'm crazy. I dunno...
"It's like you're falling in love while I just fall apart".. wow.. That just sums up the whole song. Sitting there wondering what you're doing wrong as that person is falling in love. |

This is my favorite TA song.
It's about the love in a relationship lasting forever, and it ending up being a lie in the end, and for that he took her life. Sad really. Good song though.. Davey does do a lot of backup vocals on this CD and so does Tim Armstrong of Rancid.. among other guests.. |
