Ok, lets see....I was thinking about something completely different but because the lyrics have been corected by Scavenger Type I feel that it could be about a drug dealer. "he ain't jack the ripper..." he's not a murderer, hes a drugo. But interpret it any way you like. Rancid rule, I do love the bass in this song too.

Ok this song rocks, I have recently got into Rancid and ALL their music rules (go Timebomb!). I understand sorta what RancidRules97 is saying but you are still a dickhead. People can listen to whatever they want, and if this is the first Rancid song they hear and they like it, good for them. Anyway.....pity this song was only on Chef Aid (to my knowledge) cause it is one of Rancid's best songs, just works really well.

I'm thinking along the lines of suicide with the significant other. I think that some people have taken the lyrics a bit to literally. I think he wasnts to live in heaven with his chick, cause he is sick of being depressed. He wants to kill himself but he doesn't want to leave her, he wants her to go with him.
I'm with CMESOEMO. It's what the sonmg means to you. What I wrote is what I think and the song will be special to me cause of what I think, not because I've had it drilled in by someone else. (Anyone who got told to get fucked by CMESOEMO, GET FUCKED!)

This song is great. One of, if not the best song on the cd. I think it's about trying to get away from things. I have different views on songs sometimes so I'm probably wrong. Just a great song, pity Jebediah couldn't produce this quality on their last.
