I don't think whoever said up there that the song was suppose to be mocking all the other songs about hurting and whatnot is correct. 1) Because the lyrics are not shitty. 2) Its obvious there is emotion with this song 3) A lot of their songs is about hurting so why would they make a song mocking all the other songs about hurting? 4) If you think about it, what is there to write about if you don't write about being hurt or loving? |

I saw Thrice live at Warped Tour in Indy 2003 and it was actually kind of dissapointing because they are one of my favorite bands. Maybe it was just because the crowd sucked and just stood there and that made it seem liked Thrice sucked. :/ i dunno. But its obvious this song is about suicide.. i mean come one "for a bone to break , a dream to smash apart

Finch and A Static Lullaby do not sound alike. Although I am a big fan of both... they both have their own originality. Thats just what I think though. They both have beautiful vocals, occasional screaming, and amazing guitar and drums, but they still do not sound the same. Seriously though, I agree with screamingmirror, we need to get back to the meaning of their songs. |

I really like how their songs are written. They don't get straight to the point and it makes it so that the listeners really have to put thought into whats written to figure it out. And they use a lot of metaphors and word things very uniquely. |
