(lrufo just died i'm replacing him) first of all sorry about my english, maybe you're all right maybe you're not i understand all your comments, to me this is one of the most beautifull songs ever made, to bad that this 2 "monsters" (roger & david) stopped giving us songs like this one, confortably numb means a lot to me like the whole album "the wall" to me mostly all songs are about the "bricks" that created the wall they are related to diferent scenes and events in (pink's) life that built a wall putting him a part from this world we're living in and conformatbly numb is mora lika a state of mind, a relief, an expression of fellings and emotions by who is totaly alone and surrounded by a society that just doesn't fits and makes no sense, i've watched pink floyd in lisbon (07.23.1994) i remember every second of this song and during the ending solo i felt like crying and absolutly speachless |
