No, they're referring to Brad the trumpet player in the band. He had to miss a show because he was getting married (or sick, I've heard both) a while back. After the show, all the fans started creating rumors that FIF was breaking up and even that Brad had died in a sort of "Paul is Dead" cover-up. This song was a response to these rumors. P.S. Brad is obviously not dead. |

Someone's dead in this song? Huh. I always thought of it as a love song, a la Incubus' song of the same title ("I Miss You"). The speaker feels like hell with the frustrations that come with being away from the person they love. The second verse is mainly about how much emptiness is present when he's not with the one he loves. So much so that he spends his time counting spiderwebs while he's caught in the indecision on whether or not to call her simply to relieve the feeling in his gut. Then again, maybe the chick's dead. What the hell do I know? I didn't write the damn song. |

Probably my favorite part of the episode. I love songs in which two singers sing different parts at the same time. ASH and Amber Benson both have extraordinary voices and they surprisingly compliment each other well. It breaks my heart when Tara's song of love turns sorrowfully into a song of betrayal. Both her and Giles have no other choice but to hurt themselves by doing what's best for the one they love. |

I think that it's a simple love song. But Dave has made it great by not actually saying "Love." I feel like it's just saying "You're crazy. I'm crazy. I enjoy your company. Thanks. Keep doing what you're doing." It's a very stripped down song which is what makes it so powerful. It's hard to find songs like that that say so much so few words. A pretty darn good song, however you look at it. |

| I saw these guys live in Spokane a while back. The way they played this song was really cool with only Dave and Chris on stage. Dave was great. During the last verse of singing "Burning like a flame inside of you" he sang "Burning like a flame inside your cooch." And to end the song,"I'm not getting tired of cooch." They are a good band. Huzzah. | |
