It does seem to be about suicide, or at least the thought of it. I think that line is about finding a thought in your mind to dwell on that helps to ignore depressed feelings, yet it just makes things worse.

This song speaks of choosing your own path in life and not being certain of everything you do. It is no good to go through life not sharing your experiences and daring to do something different(also being open to new ideas). Eventually people start to ignore who you are and you die without leaving something for people to remember you by.

The song speaks about how people are boring and lame(refering to the sheep in society). Anders is saying that the things he used to believe in are worthless. That the world is full of primitive thinking people who think they're in control of their lives. Really we are all under the mercy of a few "noble" beings. The song is kinda saying it sucks to realize just what your place is in the world.

this song almost seems about drugs and trying to figure out what is going on in life. its an overwhelming feeling of being lost and pleading with yourself to get over it. thats what i think anyway.... one of my favorite songs
