Live – Selling The Drama Lyrics

Something that just jumped out at me, this is the first time I've actually sat and looked at the lyrics, was the last part: to Christ: a cross, and to me: a chair; I will sit and earn the ransom from up here
This seemed like it is saying anyone can give themselves to God, whether on a cross or just sitting in a chair. It might not make sense with the true message of the song, but like I said at first glance that's what I got out of it. |

"Well it's not just a daydream if you decide to make it your life"
Best part in the song! Also, very motivating... |

Sister Hazel – Your Winter Lyrics

I agree with ladythingsalot. Only, I don't think its as harsh as "screw you" and I dont think its about past love. I think it's about someone over-reacting to things he does while in the relationship. She can't just relax and trust him to not hurt her and he's getting annoyed because he loves her so much. This song means so much to me, it is so moving. Just the thought of not having to worry about if the person you're with is cheating you and to just be able to realize that they love you. |

Counting Crows – Mr. Jones Lyrics

Mr. Jones was written after Adam spent a night with friends at a bar. He came home and wrote it right after, so he was still tipsy. This explains some of the lyrics that dont make sense. I dont think Mr. Jone's is his penis, thats reading way to far into it. Just relax and listen to it- it's a sure way to put you in a good mood. After all, isn't that what music is all about? |
