I don't think this song has a meaning, perhaps the clue is in the title "jukebox" a mixture of everything. Maybe Millencolin wrote the song and thought people would try and gather meaning from it when there is none! "So all these words do they have a meaning?
Its all in vain try to read between the lines. (its all in vain)"
That suggests theres no point in trying to find a meaning because there is none! i think its just a great song, one of the best on the album. The chorus probably does have meaning, but i dont know what that is. |

This is one of my fave tracks off the new CD. I agree with the above comments, hes been through stuff and hes wiser for it, maybe taking the meaning deeper, the song is talking about a relationship. The whole CD is based around relationships, and all the bad that can happen in them. Great song by a very under-rated band. |

What a brilliant song! Im sure everyone can relate to it in some way. Personally i think Billy is trying to say how he fell for a girl, but was too shy to tell her how he felt, then as he plucked up the courage it was too late and she was gone, and he is left forever thinkin what if? This is my favourite Green Day song of all time along with Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life). It just goes to show you don't need loads and loads of lyrics to make a great song, there are hardly any in this song, and the ones that there are tend to be repeated a lot. |

awesome song, loving the drums at the end of the chorus. i only got this album the other day 3 years since its release and im a big blink fan. One thing i have noticed as i have listened more and more to this album is how much Blink 182s latest self titled release sounds like this. Lyrically Box Car Racer seem to out-do Blink 182, although some Blink songs will always be better to me, obviously depends what you want from a band. I find it odd that some people hate Blink 182 and all that they are but love Box Car Racer when they sound so similar. I think you guys should grow up and stop worrying about your image and credability just because Blink 182 have a wide audience, your sad. |

Awesome song from an awesome album, and having said that a very angry album. I enjoy listning to this album when im down as it picks me and makes me think, well im not alone. This song to me is about someone who has cheated on someone and basically is being told its over, i dont want you in my life or in my head ever again. BUT imagine what he is thinking AFTER breaking up, then listen to the next song on the album and see how it links in to what may happen after this song. The next song is somewhere i belong. |

I think another possible message in this song is euthanasia, basically he describes how a clam cant do anything, saying they could be better off dead. The song also says "It could happen to you" basically saying one day you might be like a clam and would you like to live not being able to do anything or would you rather be dead. Thats my take on it anyway, whatever the meaning the song is awesome! |

Fairly easy to understand what this song means. A girl who is out of control and quite probably depressed "Faking laughs and faking smiles
With her fake friends". She has no direction and wastes her time getting drunk and stoned with people who use her. Probably easy for some people out there to relate to. |

Wow, listened to this song SO many times, i love it and i knew the message it was trying to put across, but when you read it normally it makes perfect sense.
