The line is correct as "my jail shoes on". The narrator or rather the "evil" brother is now in jail. I always wonder how the good son died. But yeah this is the most touching song on the album for me and probably one of my favorite PTL songs of them all. The lyrics are good but they are nothing wtihout the music. You can feel so much emotion in his guitar. |

The song is sad but in a really sick twisted way. I mean he isn't sorry for what he did at all but blames his wife and others for not understanding and claims himself a martyr. He just got finished killing his wife! |
