I saw an interview with Paul and he explained that they asked Ringo to sing this song because it was such an emotional song and thought Ringo could pull it off. Unless he was sarcastic, that's why Ringo sang it. |

This song was originally a slow song, but while John was on drugs he came in and played twice as fast. I can't imagine this song slow though. |

On John Lennon's "Watching the Wheels" he sings, "People say I'm lazy; dreaming my life away." I always thought it was a quote from this song. Whether it was or not, I don't really know. I still like to believe it was, though. |

This song was in part written because Paul had written And I Love Her. John, always trying to one-up Paul, wrote a slow love song also. I like both of the songs though. And the chord progressions on this song are genius. |

Actually Paul might've played on this song since Ringo left for a part of the White Album's recording. Paul's name is given credit as playing drums on some of the tracks on the album. Still a great song. Ringo did have a solo, though, on "The End" from Abbey Road. |

This is an obvious showing of Paul's amazing voice. Personally, it seems like a perfect Paul song. And it's interesting to notice that Paul kept doing different takes of the song because he wanted his voice to sound worn out. And I agree that Paul is an underrated singer. His voice was like having another instrument. |

The intro is the same as I Want you (She's so heavy) because the album it's on, Abbey Road, has a lot of songs that are related to each other. If you hear "You never give me your money" and "Carry that Weight" they have the same melody. Just though I'd clear that up. |
