ok guys, here's what this song means to me, i don't know about you, but this is me, just me. k? k. well my interpretation of this song was very vivid, when i heard it i got so emotional my face was like a liquid river of aqua liquid. it was like a crimson explosion inside the chasms of my brain. It was like someone shot a bullet through my heart and asked me what it felt like, it was like someone shot the pilot, now im begging. lol references hehe. well, onto my meaning of the song. Ok, well, what i think it is is that he was in north carolina once, on a trip of some sort---- maybe a band trip, maybe just a normal friend trip. maybe a family vacation? no one would know. but, all that matters is he went on it and he WAS there. he was. well he was there in some sort of hotel called sudden death inn or something, and then he woke up in a dark bed and he had some sort of bruise or broken blood vessel in his face. this made him write the song. he decided it was bad, so he called 911, and then they told him they thought he was miscalculating. (hence, how could i miscalculate,) now i talked to jesse from brand new, and he says, and i quote, "there was no dead girl on a lawn, no mob, no fun. there was nothing." he's a deep guy. he said this song is linked to a plane he was in once, a plane he thought was going to crash. he thought he was going to die. he thought. so, as the plane was going down he pulled out his pen and pad and wrote the no seatbelt song. it turns out it was just some sort of 'freak incident'. yea scary huh hehe. well, thats my interpretation, and the fell asleep with a liar last night is cause his best friend from taking back sunday (john) slept with his girlfriend, and he woke up next to his sister one night and she hadnt told him about it so she was a liar. thats what that line is about. now that is my idea about it all and i know im the closest so far i think. |
