i dont like it when people say either you live a life with jesus or go to hell, like some guy had a sign saying that in front of our school it made me mad, because if somebody dosent want to believe in jesus then why do other people care its not going to kill them. Probably the most spiritually chalenging song. He probably wrote this on a angry consious. I believe it is about jesus and somewhat about all religion. It is ment metephorically and literally. It is saying that these people think there all just and doing the right thing for something they dont even belive in.. and in some way's no one cares, they need him to get down off the cross, or stop trying because its not working, religious figrures arent high and mighty there just people who think there doig something good but it dosent work. at least thats what i think he is saying. |

this is the greatest song i think Tool has wrote next to lateralus. The song is 13 minutes of pure music heaven. Going to one part where the song is so punding you almost get a headache, to silence..... where all you hear is a little tap on the bass drum. The lyrics now are incredible I know its alll about doing acid and opening your third eye. But i think thats cool. He has some amazing trips. But anyway the song is incredible. oh yea by the way when listening to this song high its almost like going to heaven. |

This song is brilliant, it has exactly my opinion. LA sucks, it is a zoo filled with roaches. all filled with hate and anger. You need to realize that this bald man grew up there. He had to deal with the shit that goes down there. In the song when he says fret for your tv ..... ect. He is saying go ahead and worry about the stupid little shit. your all dead anyway, you cant help it. But he is also saying that you need to stop worrying and live life up cause you only got so much time. But mostly it is about how the people in LA and mostly everyone in american are so caught up in there stupid shit that there not thinking about the future and what can happen. So they should learn to swim, because when LA sinks into the sea, thats all there gonna need. thats my opinion anyway. |
