this song is amazing, but i think they deleted it. "set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm, for love is strong as death jealousy is cruel as the grave. the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame." - i love that part so much, AND if you did not know, that is a direct quote from the bible. like song of solomon chapter 8 i think. -David. |

ya...this song is super hard to figure out the lyrics, and it does sound like "im your christ and i want you" but please trust me... it is... "im your christ to die on you, just woke up for hearse and you know it as well as I do" that is really it, it was on www.heartagram.com no matter how it sounds. other than that part it is pretty accurate. and HIM meant nothing by this song to be satanic or anything, they just thought it was fun to play, no meaning like "GAH!! WORSHIP SATAN!" or anything like that. but i have heard that it is about someone being possed by the devil. |

HIM are not satanists! they have no religion or beleif system. this song is beautiful, it is a Romeo and Juliet story. Ville was surprised at how this song got so popular, he thinks that it is not the best he could do. HIM uses "666" and those things and metaphors for love. (showing that love is indeed evil), their symbol the "heartagram" is a cross between a pentagram (evil) and heart (love) -2 contrasts that were meant to be together. so dont talk about things you have no idea about "anni". -David. |
