i got a question... im asking for opinions... does it matter what age you are to be punk? i mean... im pretty young... i listen to alot of oi/streetpunk bands and i understand punk and how its not about clothing or just the music and stuff... alot of ppl like the bands i like and they know that i understand "punk" and stuff but they always say im "too young to be punk"... do u think thats even possible? |

punk aint about the music.. its about making your own choices and not giving a shit about what other people think... if u like the music itself and all of a sudden u dress in bondage pants and a leather jacket then ur a poser because u dont understand what punk means.. saying punk is all about the music then thats sort of the same thing as saying that its all about the clothing... imagine if a hardcore punk band like global threat or virus playing the same songs but dressing up in ballet costumes with tights and stuff... i wouldnt give a shit cause i like their music.. and theyre dressing like that to be different from everyone... thats punk...but if someone wants to dress in bondage pants and boots and a leather jacket with studs and paint all over it, and they actually understand everything about being "punk" then obviously thats not a poser... and if someone can afford $80 bondage pants thats good for them... $80
