When I first bought this CD, I hated it and locked it away. Oneday on a whim I recalled this song and had to hear it for some reason... and it blew my mind. Such an awesome song, perfectly encapsulating the good times in life before responsibility sets in. It also helped me realize how awesome the album is. |

This song uses a big extended metaphor - that of a celebrity - to explain just how much the girl takes up the narrator's conscience. I put this on a mixtape for a friend whose ex was putting him through hell and he loved it. |

I can't really say anything deep about this that hasn't been said in the 900 previous posts... just a testament to how moving this song really is.
I knew about Something Corporate before this song... I even had the "Leaving Through the Window" CD and never gave it much of a listen. But then the girl I'm hopeless for told me about this song, and all I can think about is how her amazing personality is wasted by guys who only care that she's beautiful. She doesn't even know it, but she is Konstantine. |

There's this test where you determine which SoCo song you are... I can go dig up the link if you want... and I got "If I Die." It really does fit... my girl's dating this guy that admits he doesn't even love her, and a lot of her friends are vapid people, and hell, I even drive Fords, and since I suck at driving I've gotten lost a couple times. Even the window dressing of this song can be related to my situation... I love it. |
