| The meaning of this song to me is a little different from everyone elses, when I first heard this song I was sitting in the car with my boyfriend flipping through the stations and he told me to keep it on because he said it was a very good song, I had never heard of it before, but when I listened to the lyrics, I thought they were very beautiful. In a few months, my boyfriend is going to college in a state very far away from were I live. "Nobody said it was easy, it's such a shame for us to part, nobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be so hard, oh take me back to the start." I met him about 3 years ago, and our friendship has never wavered. Our relationship has always been more like we are friends than boyfirend and girlfriend, that is why this song reaches me on a much deeper level. "Come back and haunt me." "Coming back as we are." makes me think of what it will be like seeing him again and to see how much we will both be changing in the coming years. | |
