I have a deep love for this song because for a while I really hated Bob Dylan (now I adore him). My dad was a big fan and he kept trying to convince me that Dylan wrote such meaningful lyrics. It was so much fun to throw this song in his face. Just a quick story for y'all. |

I think that this song has a definitly sarcastic undertone. And if it doesn't, it should, she's singing it too seriously. Maybe she's trying to say that women try too hard to be perfect and that they feel too bad when they make little mistakes. If I was singing it a concert I would make it dripping with sarcasm, but maybe that is just me. |

I think that most of Rooney's lyrics are really juvenile and basic. There really isn't much to them. They are just the regular, "I am rebelling against society" kind of band. But I like how they have like the old school vibe in some of their songs. |
