Im not sure what its about but, as nobody else said anything about this great song i'll try something:) I think its about this guy who wants to change, but he kinda kn ows that its not gonna work, he seems to wanna change every year but every year, he doesnt (I cannot keep this promise i made its allways the same) like.. He sais he tried befor and he also knows that this year aint gonna be so much better.. "See you next year".. | To me, it means something like... this guy or girl want to tell another girl or boy (and it doesnt have to be about love, but it could also mean a 'normal:D' friendship... That you just don't dare to tell the other one what you fell like 'Youre a good friend, you mean a lot to me, like that your scared that the other person doesnt see you as their best friend and are just like: well yeah very nice.. byebye now:p something like that. | I guess it's all been said above:D lol but i'm to lazy to read them all :D but i just wanted to say that i think Jimmy Eat World is one of the most 'underappreciated' bands outthere.. I mean, theyre songs and lyrics and all are soo.. i dunno so damn good and well thought about and all. This song is, besides Just watch The fireworks and For me this is heaven, my favorite jimmy eat world song, maybe my alltime favorite song ever.. Especially I like the You're not bigger than this, not better, why cant you learn.. I guess its about some guy or girl or whatever looking down on persons.. who they think are 'lower' than they are.. and then there's someone saying: cant you see.. your not better than that.. you're just the same.. Well thats my interpetation.. i bet someone allready said it a few times but .. anyway i just wanted to say it.. I just wish they would be more famous here in The Netherlands so i could go to their concerts.. theyre so damn good.. theyre lyrics are really fantastic and the songs are so amazing.. especially For me this is heaven.. just when you listen to all those different rythms, wich sound weird for the first time but than after a while you find out how great it is.. anyway this is getting too long:D bye | |
