| Beirut – After the Curtain Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
The feeling of pure elation and ecstasy present in this song suggests the fall of the curtain is not only a new begining, but the beginning of something magical. Go to Berlin and you can see the results written on the walls. |

| The Promise Ring – Why Did We Ever Meet? Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
ahhh hang on, the order's wrong... it should be: And your hair pinned up in circles worn like a widow to second the motion of second nature. Like two rafts knotted and still where sound is lost and found. But I fear its all coming back to me. Under that threat of sky we lie together, why care about the weather. It only ends in darkness. You're always dressed and buttoned up. You're always dressed and buttoned up. And between 19 and 40, for tea will have changed me. And turning from the invading light on my naked room, my naked room. Our coffee stains and dusty coughing. You're always dressed and buttoned up. |

| The Dismemberment Plan – You Are Invited Lyrics | 22 years ago |

Everything everyone has said here has given me a different point of view, and like any great art, it can be interpreted in lots of different ways. The picture I got from the song was of a guy who wasn't fully satisfied, yet he had the ultimate invitation to any social event. He only seemed really content when he gave it to the guy who was worse of that him. Great compassionate story told in the beautiful Dismemberment Plan way. |

| Amazing song. Very self reflective, it describes the confusion of emotions in relationships, as well as general lack of identity. I heard it on a BMX video, it's my fav song of all time. | |
