this song means everything to me-simple as that. best lines: *"all i/need to know/ is that im something you'll be missing" ^this is like when someone just leaves and all you can do is wonder if any of your time together meant anything to them. so right before they leave, you just need to know if they will miss anything about you. *"maybe i should hate you for this/ never really did ever quite get that far" ^you should hate them, you should hate everything they've done...but somehow, you cant get that far. you cant get over all the happy moments, no matter how short lived they may be, to hate them. *"the truth is/ you could slit my throat/ and with my one last gasping breath/ id apologize for bleeding on your shirt" ^how can this not be a favorite line? my life, summed up in 22 perfectly strung together words. and i dont think i need to say anymore. tbs is great, in my opinion. peace all. |
