| Bush – Glycerine Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I love the meaning behind this song. It's simple: Glycerine = something dormant until released, and then it's full of life and energy. They mean fill your days with life and energy and "Don't let the days go by". Great tune! | |

| In my opinoin, this song is about someone in an abusive relationship. If you've seen the video, in the beginning the girl is "gothic" and wearing alot of make up (to cover the bruises). The person is obviously trying to stop the abuse, from the lyrics in the song, but they cannot find a way out. They are lost and alone. No one knows, so they can't get any help from anyone. They don't know who they are anymore because there life has become so much like a movie and they don't understand why they can't controll themselves and leave, tell someone, get any kind of help. It's like they aren't in controll of thier lives anymore. | |

| I think this song is about someone who feels like they are being taken over and controlled by a freind or family member or someone close to them. The person tells them everything that they should do and controlls thier life. They want to get rid of the person because they don't understand that they want to make thier own desicions and live thier own life. The person doesn't understand that what is right for him/her isn't always what is right for everyone else. They don't want to follow this person anymore, and they are trying to unatach themselves from them. | |

| I think this song is about someone who's going through a serious problem (maybe drugs?) and feels very isolated and alone. They are used to listening to everyone else, and now they are alone and feel abandoned. They don't know what to do without the other person telling them how to make thier every move and they are confused and scared and don't know what's happening with them. | |
| Evanescence – Going Under Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I think this song is talking about someone who is always doing something for someone else (be it a freind, family member, boyfriend, ect.) but she needs them too and they are never there for her when she needs it. She's controlled by them, does everything they ask, but they are never there for her, so she is trying to get out. "So go on and scream...scream at me...I'm so far away...I won't be broken again...I've got to breathe..I can't keep going under" I think that part she is talking about how they can keep trying to controll her, but she isn't listening anymore, she's trying to help herself and get out. | |

I think this song is about self mutilation or suicide, just my views. "Memories consume Like opening the wounds I'm picking me apart again" Depressed, hating himself "You all assume I'm safe here in my room Unless I try to start again" Everyone thinks if they just ban them from the rest of the world, he'll stop cutting, unless he cuts again in his room. "I don't want to be the one The battles always choose" The person is tired of being depressed and under stress "Cause inside I realize that I'm the one confused" They know what's going on with them isn't right "I don't know what's worth fighting for Or why I have to scream I don't know why I instigate And say what I don't mean" The person is confused and aren't in controll of what they are doing "I don't know how I got this way I know it's not alright So I'm breaking the habit I'm breaking the habit tonight" the person is trying to quit cutting/trying to kill themselves because they know its not right "Clutching my cure I tightly lock the door I try to catch my breath again I hurt much more Than anytime before I have no options left again" Something went wrong and the person is holding a razor (anything you could cut yourself on) locked in thier room getting ready to cut. They feel like there is nothing else they can do, and cutting is the only way out. "I'll paint it on the walls Cause I'm the one at fault I'll never fight again And this is how it ends" This part confuses me...either the person is trying to kill themselves or to end everything, or they are quitting cutting and are finally happy. |

| Evanescence – Hello Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I think this song is about someone who is trying to cope with the death of someone close to them. They are in shock and don't believe that the person has died. They know it has happened, but they can't believe it. I think it is taken from a child's perspective. Maybe the mother died? | |
