Bite Me: "Teen SPirit" is some of Nirvana's worst stuff... but "Heart Shaped Box" sin't too bad. i'm not really sure about this song. I know the "When i was an alien" line refers to Kurt's childhood fantasy of believing that he was an alien, not a human. |

I believe the lyrics in the chorus go "Young gun, son of a gun/ you are the only one/ who makes any difference to what i say" This song is about that person, who for the time that he/ she is with you, feel all happy upbeat. But the minute they leave, you feel gloomy again. ("The raining always starts/ when you go away") this is actually a cover of a Vaselines song. |

This is basically Kurt talking about all the hicks he used ot live by in Aberdeen, who were completely stupid, but failed to realise it. When they did realise it, they always tried to cover it up... He's also talking about how they feel that Aberdeen belongs to them, because their whole family was born and raised in this one little town. |

This song is about a girl name Tracy Marander, whow as Kurt's girlfriend around the recording of "Bleach"... Tracy always wanted Kurt to become one of those "traditional boyfriends", and she always tried to, as Kurt puts it "smother me". The "Still smell her on you" part, I think, is about the time Kurt tried to rape a reterted, 18 year old girl. when Kurt tried to Rape her, he got sick at the way her vagina smelled, and baile don the whole idea of raping her. However, days after, Kurt was aashmaed about what he had done, and no amtter what he did, he couldn't get the way her vagina smelled out of his senses. |
