"can you still feel the butterflies?" i think that line makes me think it's about a relationship that is going cold, but he really doesn't want it to end. i like EmbracingMediocrity's thing about "the first star i see, may not be a star". i agree there, that maybe it's about when you think you're in love, but you're not really. this song is one of those songs you can turn of the lights and just listen to quietly. it's so good. one of my favourite jimmy eat world songs. |
