Mogki, religion is usually defined as WHAT YOU BELEIVE about the supernatural. About God. Or lack thereof. There's 3 types. Polytheism is the belief that there is more than one God. Monotheism (i.e. Christianity, Islam, etc) is the belief that there is one God. And Atheism is the belief there is no God. Those are the three choices. The three types of religion. |

The interesting thing is. Seperation of church and state. Church has no political authority. State should not try to mess with the church, nor be assosiated with a specific religious position, correct? ------- So why do we teach in public schools, that there is no God (i.e. evolution). That's not neutral, they're teaching atheism. That is esentially a state endorsement of a religious position.
Remember - when the constitution says the government should not have ties to a specific religion, it doesn't mean it should be atheistic. It means *neutrality*. Heck, many of the founders of america were christians. The idea is FREEDOM OF RELIGION. You can believe WHATEVER YOU WANT. Schools should not be trying to force certain ideologies down people's throats, for example evolution. But don't confuse believing whatever you want with meaning everyone's right. Christians and atheists can't both be right. You'll sure find out who went you die.
As for the little foul-mouthed trolls, I won't dignify your posts with a response except that you'll answer some day for what happens on earth. It's not my place to judge you, but your choices will effect where you spend eternity. |
