The song is not about one night stands at all. This song is about how he is in a relationship.. but doesnt feel in love. He wants to be in love with her, but he's not. I was in a situation like that not all that long ago.. so this song holds personal meaning. Plus.. Cake just kicks ass ;-) |

I think... the whole song is about two people's relationship. He gets sex, she gets to spend his money... and neither of them have to worry about a real relationship. The verse about the serrated edge is about how she gets what she wants. She manipulates him to the point where she gets her way, then she stops... until the next time she wants something. Great song. |
