ohpioneer, i'd like to think that's what it means too. Especially because of one of the last lines "and something's got to change." I want to believe that its saying...a lot of the things in the song need to be changed, and weren't necessarily true. "and i'm not my perspective, or the lies I'll tell you every time."
However, I think the title is probably just them denouncing God. I haven't been able to find anything on their beliefs, really. |

I can't figure out if this means that he's done with girls and doesn't want to learn anything new, and doesn't want to be mesmerized....or if it means that he gives into her routine and rules and doesn't want to be mesmerized by anyone but her...i don't get it. I was listening and trying to figure it out (it's on the tooth and nail compilation volume #2) but no one here has commented! help!

This song confuses me. It's like she's just using him for sex and it's his first time...kinda like he's not into it. And THEN! he tells her he loves her..."but she's probably only looking for so much more than he could ever give. A life free of lies and a meaningful relationship" ...kinda like she wants a relationship out of him and HE's the one faking just for sex. I don't know what it means, but when someone figures out they should e-mail me. |
