isn't the point of this to talk about the meaning of the song? btw... sum 41 is not pop punk, they have many styles, anyway who cares what they are classifed as, its about the music sum 41 are not sellouts, good charlotte and blink 182 for example are and sum 41 is a different band, not the typical "punk" band if thats what u wanna call them, they are awesome at their instruments unlike some of the other boring 3-choard "punk" bands and punk is a ATTITUDE, dont call them posers cause they dress punky sumtimes so leave the band alone, if u dont like them dont look at their lyrics and bash them! anyway...it's dissapointing that MTV killed this song...it really is a good song if u really listen to it i like it cause its really upbeat and funny like a lot of other sum songs, it's about just having fun and being your own person and not wanting to follow the rules... I like songs with distortion, to drink in proportion. The doctor said my mom should've had an abortion. haha =P |

| i luv this song...the lead singer deryck wrote it about one of his ex-girlfriends (probably amanda durr) and it talks about how hes better off without her; and btw bunkface means fuckface. haha deryck must of really not liked her....--yea i used to be obsessed with sum; but now i've cooled down, theyre an awesome band though =P | |

one reason why i like SOAD so much is that all of their songs are controversial, mostly about how society is screwed up. some people will listen to a song and be like wtf this is crap. but i like their songs cause u can interpret them in so many different ways sometimes i think they do that on purpose, idk but its cool cause why music is so important is that if a person thinks something about a song, it could change there life or impact them. there is no wrong interpretation of a song. system uses so many metaphors it leads you to think of many things as for this song, i have no idea what chic n stu could means, does anyone??? and the lyrics posted here are wrong btw... but anyway i think this song is about how people buy buy buy and advertising is driving people crazy and wasting money...(advertising causes need, therapy) and pizza is a popular food, whats so great about it? (what is with the pie, pizza, pizza, pie) and how advertising drives people crazy to want something (advertising causes need therapy advertiseing causes NEED!) another strange, great song by SOAD =P |
