| Radiohead – Sit Down. Stand Up. (Snakes & Ladders.) Lyrics

The reptition of "raindrops" could be representing some kind of alienation, which makes sense if you consider the begining of the song, where people are told (and most probably obey) to sit down stand up. When you always do what you're told you lose to some degre your identity and judgement... |

Very Good song, the "old piebald" is so much better than the recent stuff they've made, unfortunately. |

| The (International) Noise Conspiracy – Capitalism Stole My Virginity Lyrics

Who cares if they're marxist or communist? They're anti-capitalist, that's the important point. They're for revolution, but they don't really make a clear statement of what should replace it. I guess they for an anachist revolution, not necessarily driven by a specific metanarrative or ideology. |

Anyone who likes that kind of lyrics is my friend. If you like anachist-music-lyrics, check out Prapaghandi (for those who don't know them already), especially the album "today's empire tomorrow's ashes" |

"paranoid ultra left wing"...Did you vote for Bush? Refused accomplished what they could without "giving in". Maybe you think they'll accomplish more bieng popband like the international noise conspiracy? Refused spoke to those having the guts to do smthg for revolution, TINC speaks to the mass, which way is the best to accomplish revolution? I don't know |

This is what punk is all about: revolution, anti-capitalism and youth. I think Refused had really good, intelligent and thoughful lyrics; an excellent call for the revolution, too bad they broke up after their best album... |
