this band is incredible. my band played with them a few weeks ago and they are some of the coolest guys around and despite being one of the greatest bands i've seen, they're not at all full of themselves and they stay true to the scene and the fans. everyone should listen to this band, listen to what they have to say, and go see them. amazing. |

this song, at least to me, is about life in general. it's about having that connection with someone, someone else in your life who is like you are. to accept the way things are without searching for answers all the time. now usually i'd think someone like that to be someone who's less inclined to be as religious as mineral was, but everyone has their own way to connect with themselves. he's talking about being honest and accepting of what we have. instead of questioning everything. a lot of people look to religion in search of answers. which is ironic because in the bible in the book of job, job does the same thing, asks god why constantly, and in the end, there are no definite answers. so we all just wonder what the "truth" is and question eeeeeeeeeverything. and it gets us nowhere. many people lie to themselves and sugarcoat everything to get by in life without any problems, instead of embracing shortcomings. hahaha i'm sorry i could go on for days but i'll stop. thats just my idea of this. i'm probably wrong. only mineral knows. |

since when does being gay have any bearing on how good of a person someone is? some of the greatest people i know are gay. fuck you and the khakis you rode in on man.
when is homosexuality going to be acceptible? it's so sad that its 2003 and we still have a problem with it and use the word gay as a negative thing.
