i think this song is talking about how aaron (the singer) had a relationship with a girl and went too far with it...he talks like it was his fault that the relationship was ruined, but he is still in love with the girl. live these guys are incredible...they have more emotion on stage than any band i've ever seen...as emo as it sounds, it made me feel like crying. i love the fact that even though the lyrics are sad, they have a glimmer of hope in them. |

to me this song is about how going through hard times actually makes you a better person. that could be interpreted easily into you're walk with God, but it doesn't have to be. i think the title refers to how even in the dryest, emptiest, desert, there is life to be found. there is hope in every situation, and good can come out of bad things. |

fsf is my favorite live band...hands down. i think i like the new cd even better than the moon is down. jason fits the band a little better than chris. this song gives me goosebumps...it seems to me that it's about being stuck in a lose-lose situation, but coming out on top (haman's noose around my neck, but i wait) As for them getting popular. it disgusts me that people are so selfish with their music. as much as a loath mtv and popular radio, it would be a great improvement to have fsf played on them. they are incredible musicians and deserve to be recognized for their work, and if their stuff gets popular, maybe they will change other people's lives for the better like they've changed mine. |
