This is a truly amazing song. I know that Johnny had an extremely tough life growing up. He watched his parents both die in the same year and was finished being raised by his 4 sisters. I believe that the song kind of looks back on his life with him and his sisters becuase they became orphans. And this song just kind of expresses all the troubles they had to go through and all the scars they were left with. Very unfortunate experience, yet made into such a beautiful song. |
