Screeching Weasel – I Hate Led Zeppelin Lyrics 21 years ago
oh, a punk song. (least I think it is). I think their hate is aimed in the wrong direction, it should be towards Led Zeppelin's ignorant elitist fans.

Linkin Park – Hit The Floor Lyrics 21 years ago
The song to me, is about two good friends who after a gradual loss of mutual trust and friendship throughout the years, flip out on each other one day and one is crushed (socially, not physically) under the other.

The White Stripes – Fell In Love With A Girl Lyrics 21 years ago
despite my musical retardedness, I can still extract some meaning....
It's about unrequited love, and whether the feeling is worthwhile, or futile.
The singer is debating whether that the girl he likes, if she even likes him back, is a serious one, or something "misleading". It seems to be misleading since "Bobby says its fine", and that "she's in love with the world". World being, a love for everyone equally, or how wishy-washy her love is for one person. Plus, the singer even says "she's just looking for something new".

The Black Eyed Peas – The APL Song Lyrics 21 years ago
a song of nostalgic feeling of one leaving their homeland (in particular, the Philippines). Most immigrants, like me, can probably draw out some feelings from this. I absolutely love the tagalog chorus, but I don't appreciate hearing the Philippines being called a "ghetto". I wonder how a music video of this would be....

Linkin Park – Somewhere I Belong Lyrics 22 years ago
"gay jap shit", New Found Glory?
judging from your name, you're probably some hardcore rocker who hates anime and everything else...
Well, from some sources, I've heard that some of the members of Linkin Park (not sure which ones) happen to like that "robot stuff", or a TV series called "Mobile Suit Gundam". For the unaware, "anime" a slang term for japanese animation. Anime tends to be more geared toward more mature audiences rather than kids. As for "Gundam", it happens to be the most influential anime of all time, so it's no surprise that they did that. Hey, I probably would too if I had a band. Gundam is that good. Maybe your simple mind just can't understand an animated series or tolerate different art forms like that, assuming your use of low-brow, unimaginative diction. There are other words than "shit" and "jap"? Excuse me, but some people may be offended by "jap", in some technicalities it's another racist slur. Whatever, I'm probably some dumb anime dork to you people.
As for the song and LP, LP is great and I hope they can mature musically to become classics, this is a great song, but I personally think that something untraditional of LP as a first single would have been best, like "Nobody's Listening", to gain the attention of the masses. But then again, most of their songs STILL sound the same (minus Reanimation).
