this song has some twist that makes me want to hear it over and over again. its really good. i am kind of glad that alot of people don't know of my chemical romance. i know its weird but i HATE it when everyone starts to hear about a band that i really like because they heard it on the radio or MTV. that kills me. i hate MTV and the radio. i know it sounds stengy but i just don't like it when alot of people like the same band i like because then it becomes a "trend" and its "cool" to like them. ahh! fucking posers. |

this was the first taking back sunday song that i ever heard.the moment i heard it, i feel in love with it. many people can relate to this song and alot of their other songs because of their well written lyrics. sure we all say, 'this song has helped me through hard times and blah blah blah'....im not saying its wrong or whatever but i believe that many of you are forgetting the actual music, as in the sound. taking back sunday has a great sound along with powerful lyrics. let's not forget that. -get the flyers up. have you seen the guy with my heart on his sweater?? |

i live in dallas and this year taking back sunday was going to play in april and in may. but they cancelled both shows. i was so bummed out and mad at them! they came in 2002 also but i couldn't make it to that one i REALLY wanted to go.... i really love them. i know i sound physco because i dont know them know them but they are just my favorite band ever. god i love them! well i was wondering that if anyone who has ever seen the band play please tell me about it...i found out in may that the band had broke up, but about month ago i heard that they were looking for a new bassist and they were planning on coming back even bigger and better. does anyone know if they will still be preforming at warped this year?? i hope they are... but anyways...if you have seen the band live please IM me at aim and tell me about it..my screen name is hoping4thebest87. thanks. by the way, im new here..so i was wondering if someone could show me around... -get the flyers up. have you seen the guy with my heart on his sweater? |

it is difficult for some people to believe that this is taking back sunday because the older songs have a difference in sound than the new stuff. this song was came out when adam played bass (shuan was not in picture), antonio was the lead singer (he was the lead singer before adam), and the guy in the background is one of the singers from brand new. despite all the change ups and conflicts tbs has been through they are still my favorite band. and i will never get tired of them. -get the flyers up. have you seen the GUY with my heart on his sweater? |

this is my first time posting a comment..im nervous.. im always nervous about doing something for the first time...i hope i do this right...ok. here is goes. ok i think that he has broken up with a girl or is planning on breaking up with his girlfriend. i believe that the reason for the break up is the because the girl has done something wrong. i realize this because in the line 'i'll leave the lights down low, so she knows i mean buisness'..when the words 'i mean buisness come out' are told to you is because you are about to have a serious talk..right?. 'i could be your best bet let alone your worst ex' i think has to do with how the outcome of the problem will become. or that the way you treat someone is how they will be with you.. 'i wanna hate you so bad, but i can't stop this anymore than you can' im pretty sure that he is very mad at what the girl has done. but his love for her is still much greater and it makes it more difficult do hate her. 'so honestly how could you say those things when you know they don't mean anything and you know very well that i can't keep my hands to myslef' i think this means that the girl said some things to him that she didnt mean...and that probably cause him to love her more. 'this is all wrong and it shows, they're certain things i promised not to let you know' i think the he and the girl are still friends despite of what happened. he does not want her to know that he still has feeling for her and he wants to hide them. i kind of think that the guy and the girl and still doing the 'dirty' but he knows it's wrong because he is not doing it for love but because he does not want her to know that the 'break-up' has affected him. so he wants her to know they're doing it for pleasure. 'you've got this silly way of keeping me on the edge of my seat. but your only counting that clock against the train.' maybe this verse is that she probably treats him as if they were still together and that makes him feel good. but he has thoughts that she is only doing it because the is realizing that he is hurt and she feels pity for him and she wants something from him that she did not get in relationship. 'and you're just getting started and i'm miserable' he is now probably realizing what's going on and that makes him feel down. because he realizes that it was all a pity relationship. 'i didn't want it to mean that much to me' then he knows that it was all for pity and she did not have true feelings for him, it hurts him and he tries to not let it affect him. phew...i'm done. oh my goodness. i know that all i was babbling about probably HAS nothing to do with the song... :(..but i tried...ok well im new so if you love taking back sunday and do not have emo in your screenname talk to me..the whole emo thing is about because i think thats really dumb because emo is emotion and to those of you who have 'emoshchick' or whatever are probably posers...and do not know what emo is..sorry if i have offended you. it is MY POINT OF VIEW. thanks for listening..or in this case..reading.. |
