its really funny that sometimes onstage they sing 'i own a brown cow' instead of 'when i come around' they could be talking about comeing around mentally, but im not sure. either way it makes scence. ohh yeah, and the bass line to this is great, im also a bassist. |

take note to the fact that both billie joe and mike suffer(ed) from some sort of anxiety attacks. also i tihnk its a call to say that he feels so alone in this world, but he knows most everyone goes thru a time of struggle.

Great song, written by mike. its prolly about vengence, and him saying 'look at what you did to yourself, you diserve every bit of it.' seems like it was directed at someone who always made fun of him in high school for not being 'cool', and then 20 years later, that jerk has no job becuse they were a snot ass who no one really liked in the first place. |
