Hi HisChEeSeBuRgEr- I was lookin' at your name and I was like "what does that mean?" and then I figured out it was from Veggie Tales! Sorry...I just noticed your 4 favorite bands/artists were some of the most awesome. Avalon is one of my favorites. I just bought their "Testify to Love: Greastest Hits" Cd. It's really good. I'm really not 2 sure I've actually heard this song b4 because the Christian radio station where I live (104.7 The Fish) is not big on variety. Anywayz...that's all I really wanted to say. Bye |

Personally (this is just my opinion) I think this is a good, but biased song. I happen to agree that the US occupation of both Afghanistan and Iraq needed to occur but I also respect the opinions of other people who believe it should not have happened. I was very upset with countries like France and Germany that did not support us in the Iraq war. I think they should have been behind us because of the many things we have done for them. Freefalln I disagree with a lot the statements you made, but I respect your opinion because I can tell you have thought it out and truely believe in it with all your heart. I do share your views about immigration and America being a mixing bowl. Anyone who thinks that no immigration to America is right is not a "good" American or a "pure" American as they call themselves because America was founded on the belief that it was open to anyone. I can see you realize that. I also think that people making fun of other people's religion or ethnicity is one of the worst things you can do. Most Muslims ARE peace loving people. Only a small group of extremeists make war and suffering. And about the territory disputes in the middle east....most rich, powerful countries are to blame b/c they did a lot of dividing that was purely STUPID after the 1st and 2nd world war. It split apart nationalities and put rivaling people into one country. Think of the Kurds. They are divided among 7 or 8 countries with little hope of ever being a country of their own. The same thing happened in Africa. Think of Sudan. If colonial powers and big countries had kept out of things it wouldn't be like that. Countries would be divided better. I'm sorry if you don't agree but I think that's one way the US, Great Britian, France, ect. messed up. I'm done now. At last. |
