i remember seeing an episode in the simpsons where lisa's taking tap dancing lessons, and her instructor talks about send morse codes through dancing to the americans... it helped me understand the song just a little better. |

this song is basically about the morphing of weaponry... and science for that matter to an entire new level. the romans are used because they were both dominant in battle and did a lot of scientific work. it's about evovling war and war tactics. the roman emperors used in this song were both insane (Nero and Caligula), so the great power falling under insane hands is also another aspect of the song. |
