this is a great song. to me it sounds like chad has fallen for this girl that has brought out a side of him he didnt know existed (you’re waking up a part of me i’ve never known) and he has a notion that its a mutual feeling coming from this girl, so he feels "invincible" to anything that can come between them when there is obviously something going on between them. The chorus tells it all: just take away the words i say cause i know that you don’t feel the same just go and say what’s in your head and i won’t try to stop you As the song goes on, it expresses how they have had problems but they are trying to avoid them. (what is the use of it, we’re ok it’s nothing . .). The last part of the song after the chorus is simply saying that he is over trying to keep her to stay because its obviously what she doesnt want. He wont try and wont change himself to keep her around: and i won’t try so you’ll stay this time i won’t try and i won’t change this time i won’t try to stop you The song title is a metaphor for what it takes (the chemistry) to break up (a car crash). |

| i wish this song could be longer...i mena since it is in response to Autumns Monologue, it should be some what near the same length. but thats just me. if it was a longer song it be even better. but still all in all a great song. | |

| why is it that a band like Brand New is so great on their first CD, but then when their 2nd cd comes out mainstream....its no where near as good. Big time record companies need to stop telling bands what to play. As Reel Big Fish put it "Radio PLays what they want you to hear." same thing with record companies. All this happened to Thrice as well....Thrice, in my opinion, was unbelievibly the most influential and intellegent lyrics and rythms in "Illusion of Safety" and "Identity Crisis" CDs. then out came "Artist in the Ambulance"....which i found to fail in comparison to the other 2 i listed. | |

| ChancingTomorrow, its not that i wanted them to market their older stuff right now. WHat i meant was they should have started playing their older stuff when they first came out with it (2 years ago). So thus, it would be abel to be marketed on their old record label, not their new one whether it being some city known label or being a big corporate label. Either way (in my opinion) Thrice would be liked a lot more if they started out playing their stuff on the radio 2 years ago | |

| i hate this song by thrice....i can't believe that they started playing this one on the radio first. They should have started out with some older stuff like Torch to end all Torches, T&C, To What End, or Identity Crisis, those are all great songs. I have been listening to Thrice for about a year now and (in my opinion) this song doesnt compare to their older stuff. | |
