This is like...perfect song to describe me...maybe it's just me, but I think it's about this chick who's supposed to be wild and give the guy a totally amazing romance, but then she's really kind of mellow, and he's so disappointed but can't get over her..."No one will ever love you for your honesty..." I guess I'd like to think that because I had a guy who was like that. Music is most comforting when it reminds us that we are not alone. |

| The lyrics are beautiful...yeah. If you read them out loud they sound like poetry, the kind a modern writer would be ashamed to write...you don't hear love poems so much anymore, everyone's so cynical. This one is kind of lonely (when you get too close I run and hide) but then it gets that feeling of "it'll be alright". This is the song I'd recommend to someone who feels their love is failing. | |

My ex-boyfriend recommended this song to me...I know it doesn't mean anything but it's still such a hopeful song, and he *is* the boy in the song...I guess this song is kind of sad, in a way, the way all love songs are, because you can't be sure things will work out, especially in this case. I guess I'm one of those chicks searching for a guy who doesn't quite fit in. I wish all the guys in the world could see this board and know there are sweet girls out there who want sweet guys, instead of the usual stuck up bitches! This is why emo music rocks - it doesn't say that you have to be beautiful or special to be loved, that you will be loved hopelessly, desperately, by *someone*. |
