this song teras me apart. i have been with my girlfriend for 2 years and about 5 months ago i started cheating on her with 2 girls for about 2 months. i dont know what the hell was wrong with me. my girl has given me everything i ever needed and i love her but i have never recovered from my ex. this song makes me think about my ex because she was older and left me to go do bigger and better things. she also inspired me to play guitar and we spent so much time getting drunk and high with each other and just living like crazy teens in love so the part *those nights that we spent drinking never got us anywhere* hits home. it also seems to be about my current girlfriend because she doesnt know about me cheating. so parts like *it's to dying in another's arms and why I had to try* and the part about lieing about mistakes and goin on and living. i dont know i hear this song and it makes me feel things i thought i was impossible because of this song. i learned to play it on piano about a year and half ago so our band often does a cover of this song |
