I think this song is about Portland.
"rose city" means portland. pioneer square is pioneer courthouse square, in portland. "white city" is because portland is a very white city, 75% white people. Before WWII other ethnicities were pressured not to live in oregon.
that doesn't explain the whole song i guess. |

the fact that i live in portland and love this song is only a coincidence. the lyrics are easy to relate to, about not being interested and feeling like you're nothing and just coasting through your day. yeah. |

i think that it means that someone's taking someone else's advice. "took a moment from my day and wrapped it up in things you say." but the advice might not be too good. "the packaging begins to break." but thats just a rough gestimate on the meaning. |

why is it that this song has no comments and farmhouse has like 50? I love this song i got a version of it off of kazaa where once the tune gets repetative a new one breaks out and its absolutely awesome. |
