i figured the whole song was a tribute to someone close to him commiting suicide; "two pills just weren't enough, the alarm clocks going off but your'e not waking up." this lyric is almost too obviously a euphimism for someone dying. He also does sing of a funeral, but it seems to be a larger event then that, priests and choirs at the funeral. i dunno, i mostly can see where Lunetia is coming from but i think he should tie something into his interp. about a suicide, as it is the most obvious aspect of the song. i love this song and listen to it far to much. |

This song is obviously not a metaphor of any kind. Listen to any other Descendents song, they always use clear and concise up front thoughts. Never do they try to hide meanings behind complicated words. This song is about a band that had more influence on him than on any other. I love this song. |
