Jack Off Jill – Author Unknown Lyrics 22 years ago
i think it's partially about marilyn manson, as jessicka does note somewhere on her website (jessicka.com) that she was rather upset when he mentioned her in his book as merely a "groupie," and also, marilyn manson [or brian. whatever you want to call him.] has some sort of thing where he's stuck on religions, [not saying this is bad; it's always wonderful to have an open mind...] where it seems that he is constantly trying to 'prove god wrong,' and is willing to die for the cause. [thus, martyr; dying for a religious cause.] although, these are just presumtions. besides, she has said that she isn't upset with him any longer/wasn't really too bothered in the first place, and i do believe her on that.
i also find that it may be about someone else in her life, perhaps a parent or close relative that may have done something horrible to her or a close friend.

Tool – Aenema Lyrics 22 years ago
it's of my opinion that maynard has created a term: aenema, a take on of anima and enema.
enema: bodily wastes, ie: shit
anima: the true self [or soul, even.].
the song makes me think of what may happen upon the idea of an apocalyptic comedown. all of the impure, or 'shit' souls are flushed away, and maynard believes that the majority of the population is located in L.A., part of california, which is believed to slowly be drifting away from the united states. (thus, arizona bay.) after they're flushed off, the remaining souls that had not been disposed of can be considered 'freaks', like the old dime shows at circuses.
a brilliant song from brilliant men.

Rasputina – Rats Lyrics 22 years ago
to me, it seems that this song is a reference of how people overrun their morals and pressure their leaders into swaying toward antimorals in order to survive. thus, people care more about their lives than their morals...
though, i could be utterly, utterly wrong.
