Cursive – Some Red Handed Sleight of Hand Lyrics 22 years ago
This has to be the most addictive beat from Cursive. I love all their lyrics.. this is a great introduction, I love the theme of the CD, and how they introduce it through the first track here. Yay "The Ugly Organ" =D

Cursive – The Lament of Pretty Baby Lyrics 22 years ago
Bright.eyed.girl is right.. he wouldn't. Most of his songs ARE analogies, and this IS an analogy. I agree, though, with you--Some cultures -blame- the moon for being the cause of the menstrual cycle. Eww. And people won't "fix" her because they -can't- fix that kind of thing =p But I see -MANY- ways to interpret this song, just as you can with Sierra (which is not posted here, but is another song that keeps me thinking). You can interpret this however you want, but Sweetygal16's ideas are EXACTLY what I thought of it. The moon isn't as innocent and beautiful as it seems, it could make one dwell on their own misfortunes and the mess they have and look back at the seemingly pure moon that we never think of as a horrid thing, more like it's pointing and laughing at her for her situation. I dunno. You can interpret this any way.

But I've always thought Tim Kasher was a genius, and he still is, this song is even further proof, even making our minds boggle with different ideas. I get goosebumps nonetheless =p
