absolutely agree with the 'burn out or fade away' feeling. thats the first thing i thought when i heard this song.
and the title has to come from gimme shelter + sympathy for the devil.
i dig the song, its incredibly catchy. |

"Killers? Not really. More like Pink Floyd."
i listen to a lot of pink floyd and not once was i reminded of them by this song. now, i barely listen to any killers, but the songs i've heard definitely sound like this song. but to each their own i guess, i still dont really like this song all that much. it doesnt help that its sandwiched between two of my favorite songs on the cd. |

i feel like he says 'future' in this album just as many times as hes said 'singing out' in parachutes. This whole cd sort of has a future theme to it, at least thats what i think.
this song is alright, but it feels a little to Killers for me sometimes. |
