This song is the story of my life, out of everything GGD has done, this is one of my favorites and one I relate to. "When you're looking for truth on the cover of a magazine, How does it feel when you find out what you're not gonna be" This line is centered on the media and magazines that show you beautiful people who we will never become. "And all the beautiful images lining your walls. Pop radio screaming down the halls" I think this is about the celebrities and "American Idols" (which, I think we have far too many of, but anyways...) that have immense control over the lives and minds of the masses. "Now everybody wants to know your name" Ooh.. I love that! Great song. -Kel |

I think this song is about a person who is caught up in fads and the material side of life. "As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion" Or possible, Davey is talking about the state of celebrity so many people get caught up in. I think it's overanalyzing the lyrics a little too much to think it's about 9-11... but that's just my theory. On another note- was anyone else freaked out by the first hidden track on sing the sorrow? I love the lyrics... but the way the song (or whatever you would call it) is done makes me feel a little dizzy... but that might be the point. -Kel |

The second last verse of this reminds me of a line written by Shakespeare (forgive me for being odd) "Consumed by that which once nourished it." I love this song, but I actually like the Leaving Song Pt. 1 a little better (I'm probably the only person who thinks that) AFI are the master poets! -Kel |

Wow, this is one of Deadsy's best songs, atleast to me. I think it's a good song to cry to, but that's prolly just me being strange. It has an uplifting melody but the words make it feel lost and hopeless. "Perhaps the end will come tonight..." I love that line. *sigh* Anyways, Deadsy is awesome at lyrics, even though some of their songs make me feel a little uncomfortable. Great song, man. -Kel |

This song is... It just is! I love the line "So, kiss me hard, cause this will be the last time that I let you." I think this song is about bad relationships, the end of relationships, and choosing to keep going with your life. I suppose I could cry if I was in an especially depressed mood, but mostly, I just love this song for the amazing lyrics and melody. It stays in my head forever...
