I Am The Walrus and Come Together were about the whole Paul is Dead thing.
Drug slang is a big hint into what the song may be about. And the line in "Mid-Day" off of Four Cornered Night has to do with waiters and dope, but that's just my observation. |

"This one is about when my sister decided to become vegan. She was eating hamburgers one day, and the next she was on the phone preaching to everyone she knew about how wrong it was to kill animals for food. I thought it was ridiculous, so I sang about it. Sort of. Our big inside joke at the time was the subliminal satanic messages where we would say something like: "WHAT DID YOU SAYtan? (satan get it?!) and the "ten" in the title was just to make it that much more confusing. I had meant to change the title on "Turn The Radio.." to "I Eat Vegetarian", but I forgot." - Aaron Barrett |
