| The Postal Service – Nothing Better Lyrics | 22 years ago |

No, football, or 'soccer' matches do not have quarters. Substitutions are made throughout. There is no measurement for the quarter. You can say, 'well, there are quarters they're just not stopped for' but they no more exist than if you said there are eigths and sixteenths of a football game. I assumed it was hockey, especially the tone of 'tend the net', which wouldn't be typical of football. But if hockey doesn't have quarters, then it's just his mistake. |

Yes, bright eyed girl, you are; that's just weird. You need to let go of that catholic guilt. Pleasure is a good thing. Oh, and this song has NOTHING to do with god. |

| Pedro the Lion – Priests and Paramedics Lyrics | 22 years ago |

"Lately I have been wondering why We go to so much trouble to postpone the unavoidable And prolong the pain of being alive" These are the words of someone who views life as pointless, coming from a priest, of course they represent a renouncing of his religion you cretin. |

| Pedro the Lion – Priests and Paramedics Lyrics | 22 years ago |

This song is about perceived roles of good in society; the priest was a fucktard; the paramedics weren't apathetic, they were the people making genuine acts of worth. The moral nature of the dead man isn't up for question; if he'd been immoral in some way his death wouldn't have been so tragic as to cause a priest to renounce his stupid religion. "Lately I have been wondering why We go to so much trouble to postpone the unavoidable" just means "hey, life's shit, why not kill ourselves" again expressing the unappreciated superiority of the paramedics over the priests, people perceived as 'holy' and celestial in some way, unable to cope in the face of harsh reality. |
