The Wicker Man is a man made of wicker. The British Druids used to put men and women in there as a sacrifice before the Romans arrived. They made a Christopher Lee film about a man who finds out a cult still practice this, and is eventually sacrificed himself. The song is about that whole thing, i think. The series spends all it's time trying to get the "information" out of No.6 about why he resigned. Plus it spends quite a while chasing him with a weather balloon :-) A strange cult UK TV series." This song is about the American war on the frontier. After the whole War of Independce malarky, America went out to conquer the west, which the British had told the Indians before hand, that they could keep. The song is a brilliant song, espiccialy as it isnt biased. If it just saw it from another view, that would of been completly different on the other hand =) |
