This song is close to my heart. It reminds me of my first girlfriend. Winter was a down time for her, miserable to say the least. She lost her father at a young age and from what she's told me about him, he'd sound alot like the father figure in this song. And the line "Boys get discovered as winter melts" hold a special significance to me. As i was discovered in march, as well as discarded the next year. It's more or less a progression of a life, not necessarily a specific person, but it's erily close to my first love. Cameron |
