beside racism, i think this song can be also about cristianism.... imagine someone dying, someone with cancer or something like that("hanging from a tree"), and this person is always praying and asking god for help, screaming 'take me outta here'... but than brian says that it doesnt matter how hard he try, you know... praying and hoping and buying books... in the end all you need is haemoglobin... fuck jesus, it's your body! |
